A Night to Remember: Bridging Generations on the Iconic Pier 40 Roof

Last night, under the glowing New York City skyline atop the iconic Pier 40 roof, the Two Bridges U-19 squad had the privilege of meeting with several members of our exceptional Associate Board. It was an evening of inspiration, connection, and hope—showcasing the powerful role soccer plays in shaping lives and bridging communities.

The Associate Board, made up of Andrew Boris, Ashton Miller, Adam Lassner, Matthew Miscione, Tobi Olopade, Omer Hit, Adam Raphael, Thomas Strackhouse, Ali Familia, Tommaso Vitale, and Henry Meyers, represents a group of accomplished professionals whose shared passion for soccer drives their commitment to our mission. Their stories, shared during the evening, reflected how the game shaped their lives socially and professionally, offering invaluable inspiration to the players.

For the U-19 squad, hearing directly from these influential individuals was transformative. These young men, navigating their own paths with determination and grit, were reminded of the endless possibilities that come with perseverance, teamwork, and the right support.

As a 100% no pay-to-play club, Two Bridges thrives on the generosity of donors and the steadfast advocacy of champions like our Associate Board. This inspiring evening demonstrated the immense value of their contributions—not only in empowering our players but also in amplifying our mission to build a brighter future for the community.

We are deeply grateful to the Associate Board for their ongoing support, mentorship, and belief in what Two Bridges represents. This gathering is just the beginning. Together, we look forward to many more evenings filled with collaboration, shared vision, and the transformative power of soccer. Two Bridges is more than a club—it’s a movement, made stronger by the people who champion it.
